A note from Christine ...
When my children were young, I struggled for years to find a place where I felt comfortable leaving them for the day. Not only did I want them to receive the love, care and attention they deserved; I also wanted a safe, clean and friendly environment where they could grow and learn. Years later, I was able to provide the care I could not find when I was searching. The Learning Well in West Bridgewater was born in 2006, starting in my home and eventually moving to our location on Copeland Street.
In 2018 we started the process of restoring a1924 Hanson elementary school back to its original beauty. The amazing building with its large windows and open spaces inspires creativity and is a wonderful place for children to spend their days. The gorgeous ten foot windows bathe the rooms in natural sunlight; and our huge playground is a great area for running, climbing and enjoying the fresh air. We are proud to provide a social and academic program that is engaging and fun.
In 2022, we acquired a building that previously held an educational facility. As in our other locations, we began the restoration of the property; making the interior more user and child-friendly, adding a large playground as well as in indoor gross motor room for those days when getting outside is hampered by weather. We offer the same programs as in West Bridgewater and Hanson, and hope some day to add Kindergarten Prep here as well.
